Duck Duck Goose
The playground game, on phones. The chase is a trivia question.
Two to thirteen people, in a room or on a call. One person starts a circle and shows the code; everyone else scans it and takes a seat. Best with a crowd, playable with one other person, and playable on your own against the computer.
- One person starts a circle and shows the code. Everyone else scans it and taps once — you're on the ring, and it shows your seat.
- One player is the picker, with two buttons: DUCK and GOOSE.
- DUCK quacks the next phone and moves on round the ring. The picker can go round as many times as they like.
- GOOSE stops the ring. The goose's phone honks — and then the picker and the goose get the same question, on their own phones, at the same instant. Everyone else watches.
- First right answer sits down. A wrong answer loses on the spot — it's a sprint. The loser picks next.
- Three rounds running as picker and you sit anyway, same as the playground. The ring colours a seat by how often it's been picked, so nobody gets skipped all night.
