One-Card Schmuck
The card game where everyone can see your card but you.
Played on the phones already at the table. No app, no account, nothing to install — one person starts a table, the rest scan a code.
You'll deal first, and play. Takes ten seconds.
On your own? The second button seats four computer players. Their cards
go along the bottom of your screen — that's where they'd be if they had
foreheads — and your own stays face down until the reveal, because
there's nobody to hold it up for. Read the table, then stay in or fold.
Somebody scans in, a machine stands down, and your card shows again.
- One person starts a table and shows the QR code. Everyone else scans it and taps once. The code tucks away behind a Dealer button afterwards — tap it to bring it back when somebody else turns up.
- The dealer taps Deal — and plays the hand too, on the same phone. Every phone counts down from five — get your phone onto your forehead, screen facing out, before it hits zero.
- Your card appears. Everyone at the table can see it. You can't.
- Look around. Who's got the highest card? Talk it up, bluff, laugh.
- Then your card hides and a FOLD button appears. Phone up and do nothing to stay in — or tap FOLD to fold.
- At the reveal, phones come down. Highest card still in wins, and the winner's phone says so.
No chips, no scorekeeping — in or fold is the whole bet, and the round is the whole game. Up to thirteen at a table, every card a different rank, so the highest is never in doubt. The deal passes to the next player after every hand, so everybody gets it and nobody sits out running the game.
